The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals compete as members of the Heartland Conference in NAIA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Lubbock Christian is a private Church of Christ institution located in Lubbock, Texas. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
