All-American Bowl

The All-American Bowl was a bowl game held at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama from 1986-1990. It was a replacement for the former Hall of Fame Bowl, which had packed up and left for Tampa, Florida following the 1985 game. Because the Southeastern Conference initially decided to hold its championship game in Birmingham when that game began in 1991, the bowl ended.

In its short lifespan, the bowl consisted entirely of at-large selections.
