The Fayetteville State University Broncos compete as members of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Fayetteville State, a historically black college, is a public institution located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, about 90 minutes south of Raleigh. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 5,000.
