The Grand Canyon University Antelopes compete as members of the Western Athletic Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Grand Canyon, formerly affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, is a private, for-profit, non-denominational Christian institution located in the Alhambra neighborhood of northwest Phoenix, Arizona. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
