The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, or MIT, Engineers compete in NCAA Division III as members of the New England Football Conference for football, and the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference for basketball. MIT is a public military institution located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, across the Charles River from Boston. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
