The Bemidji State University Beavers compete as members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Bemidji State is a public institution located in Bemidji, Minnesota, near the headwaters of the Mississippi River three hours northwest of Minneapolis and two hours west of Duluth. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
